Aperio is one of the biggest packaging companies in New Zealand. It is a member of an Australian based packaging group.
Their Christchurch plant uses Viisibility’s supply chain system to collate data from five diverse systems:
- Work order tracking
- Project management of order amendments
- Project management of customer proofing for new designs
- Shop floor control
- Collation of work order, design co-ordination and planning information
While these systems are all integral to Aperio’s production processes, they do not communicate with each other. By utilising the collaboration capabilities of Viisibility, production staff have a single Internet-based window to all the information they need from the five systems.
Aperio customers have benefited significantly due to the better on-time delivery of their products.
