"Stonewood Connect is starting to transform our business; it is a significant tool that we are constantly evolving."
Stonewood Homes has recently enhanced their Stonewood Connect system with the addition of two new reporting features to help manage building consents and company cashflow.
"With this latest set of reports, I am getting our Connect system to talk to our accounting system which is providing some meaningful reports and better visibility across the entire building process," says Geoff Harrison, CFO at Stonewood Homes.
The consent reports give Stonewood a dashboard of all building consents that are due out which helps plan orders and project start dates, while the cashflow reports give Geoff greater financial visibility of anticipated projects.
"The new consent reports assist us in allocating resources to meet the requirements of the various building consents and the cashflow reports allow us to accurately predict future invoices that will be raised," says Geoff.
Stonewood’s building supervisors maintain expected forecast dates for projects in Connect and can see when certain projects or tasks become overdue.
Detailed financial graphs have allowed Geoff to remove all the guesswork in terms of cash planning and because building supervisors are focusing on billable outputs, staff KPI’s can be now measured through the delivery of projects that have been planned. |
